Brass is a widely used copper and zinc alloy with a unique set of properties. It is noted for its attractive appearance, malleability, corrosion resistance, strength and ductility. Brass has a low melting point of 900 - 940°C (1,652 - 1,724°F). It is also antimicrobial, has low friction, can withstand wear and offers excellent electrical/thermal conductivity.
This non-magnetic alloy is 100% recyclable and is readily machinable. Typical applications include:

Consideration for Bonding Brass Substrates--Room Temperature Curing
Room temperature curing epoxy and polyurethane systems are solvent free and are easy to dispense. First-line products include Master Bond EP30, EP51M, EP21TDCHT and Supreme 11HT. Low viscosity, rigid curing EP30 has superior dimensional stability. Optically clear, this system offers excellent chemical resistant properties. Fast setting EP51M has high tensile shear strength and is serviceable down to cryogenic temperatures. Ideal for bonding similar and dissimilar substrates EP21TDCHT withstands aggressive thermal cycling. It has a paste consistency, can be applied vertically without dripping and is simple to mix with a convenient one to one mix ratio, weight or volume. Tough, durable Supreme 11HT features high peel and shear strength. It also resists -100°F to +400°F.
